I am a Computer Engineering student with a taste for music. I have no formal training in music. Just personal experience aquired mostly from personal training, small church and campus groups and a LOT of singing in the car. I play the guitar but not terribly proficient with it; still will try to make some vids of guitar+singing. My musical tastes range from all within the realm or rock/metal to operas/musicals and all the sweet spots in between! ;)
I am uploading videos mostly in search for an audience since there are no real venues or opportunities where I am from for my particular tastes. And mostly going through a bored phase. Though I would one day love to be in a musical theater production in Broadway or elsewhere I am not actively pursuing this dream; plenty of more talented people out there... so I'm just sticking with Software Engineering... ;)
Currently my only real recording equipment is a 10 bucks Logitech Gaming Headset so it is not the best things to have for audio input; but might as well start with what I have! Using Cyberlink Power Director to capture myself singing and record audio and merge with track on Adobe Auditions.Sometimes syncing can be a problem, but I think I've gotten better on the later videos as you will probably notice, but hey... with another cheap-o Logitech webcam not much can be done. =)
My nickname creepyfellow is not meant to reflect any qualities of my persona! I hope, sort of, maybe... The name originated a decade ago back when I was 13 and Starcraft came out. Hunting for names in B-NET I could only come up with nothing that wasn't taken within the realm of possibilities of a 13 year old in the good old days... so I just picked creepyfellow... because the Zerg built on "Creep". Made sense to me then... woefully misunderstood through time! Regardless, I am known in many places as creepyfellow and might as well stick with that identity to keep things simple. :p
I plan to make some videos for songs from Repo, Sweeney Todd, Les Mis, Dr Horrible, JC Superstar, Joseph, Man of La Mancha, Moulin Rouge, some old movies stuff and probably some ballads in spanish/english. If there happens to be any requests along the way that I can do I'd love to give them a try! :)
